Driver George Ivey purchased boat #651 at the beginning of 2023 from Jesse Schmig. With Damon Marotta Sr on the throttles, the boat made a good showing, running neck and neck against #644 Free Bird for most of the race. With Reef Dellanos driving and Dean Stahlman's 22-year-old son, Ryan, as throttleman, the Bird broke free to win on the final lap and take the race. Sadly, #602 Ultimate Powerboat Racing Experience didn't make it to the start line. It was to be Chris Reindl's last race event, as he passed away in his sleep a week later.
